Founder & President

R. Brenton Dana first fell into Palmetto State politics while attending the University of South Carolina. In the years since he has been blessed to work for a multitude of fantastic candidates and campaigns across South Carolina.

After a series of stints on different campaigns throughout the state, in 2018 Dana, founded Dana Three Strategies and began executing and advising political campaigns across South Carolina. The firm's name, Dana Three Strategies, stems from Dana being a triplet and the oldest of three brothers.

Prior to his full-time political career, Dana worked for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) as a fundraising professional. He set new fundraising records and standards in the thirteen-county region of the Pee Dee Area Council. As a result, Dana was able to meet and surpass previous budget development goals leading to significant increases in membership and services for youths. Dana and his brothers are Eagle Scouts and were the first triplets in BSA history to receive their Eagle Scout Awards at the same time.

Dana’s work experience also includes a stint at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., as well as a multitude of roles in both legislative chambers in the South Carolina State House when he was a college student.

Dana enjoys spending time with his family, attending church and Gamecock football games as well as enjoying the outdoors, classic cars and helping coach young quarterbacks. He is an avid reader, writer, Second Amendment advocate and former competitive marksman in the Precision Rifle Series.
